I am the Library Media Specialist. I started teaching at Ben Davis in 2008. I taught 6 years a long time ago in high school business education. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Secondary Business Education. In 2008 I finished a master's degree in Library and Information Studies. I also became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2014. I have the sweetest job in the whole wide world! I look forward to teaching your children library skills and to help them choose books!
As far as my family goes I have a great husband, Neal, and two daughters, Meg and Kate. My daughter went all the way through school in Decatur City Schools. They are grown now, both are married and working full-time jobs. Meg and her husband, Brad, live in Montgomery. Kate and her husband, Bradley, live in Nashville.
In my spare time I like to read (of course!), craft, sew, travel, do calligraphy, and spend time with my family!
